Food VENDORS

Castleberry Fairs & Festivals welcomes both Specialty Food Exhibitors and Food Vendors.

These are two distinct categories with different application requirements. Please review the descriptions below to ensure you apply using the correct application.

Required for all food exhibitors

Whether you are a specialty food vendor or cooking onsite, all food-related applications must include:

  • Confirmation that products are made in an inspected facility (as applicable)

  • Agreement to obtain the required temporary food permit for each event

  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification

  • Allergen awareness training certification

  • Compliance with all local Health Department and Fire Code requirements

All permits and certifications must be available onsite during the event.

First — what kind of food exhibitor are you?

Specialty Food Vendors (no onsite cooking)

You are considered a specialty food vendor if:

  • Your products are prepared in advance

  • Items are packaged and shelf-stable or refrigerated

  • Nothing is cooked, heated, or assembled to order at the event

Examples include:
Jams, honey, maple syrup, sauces, spice blends, candy, chocolates, baked goods (packaged), coffee or tea (packaged), popcorn, pickles, oils, vinegars, and similar items.

Specialty food vendors apply using the standard Craft Show application for each event.

You’ll select “Specialty Foods” as your category during the application process.

Food Vendors Cooking Onsite (ready-to-eat)

You are considered an onsite food vendor if:

  • Food or beverages are cooked, heated, assembled, or prepared to order

  • Items are intended for immediate consumption at the event

  • You operate a food truck, trailer, grill, fryer, beverage station, etc.

These exhibitors must apply through a separate Food Vendor (Onsite Cooking) application.
Availability is limited and offered only at select outdoor events.

Food vendors may sell only the menu items approved with their acceptance.
